The filter press is a machine that extracts the solids from the mixture and achieves the effect of solid-liquid separation. The solid-liquid separation is carried out by means of filtration and mechanical squeezing. The filter press consists of a number of filter plates and frames that are stacked together to form a filter chamber, using pressure as the driving force for filtration. The press and the frame are pressed and pulled together, and the unloading of the slag and the cleaning of the filter cloth can be fully automated, which facilitates the development of the filter press into a larger machine.
The function of the filter press is similar to that of the Rotary Vacuum Filter. In some processes, the filter press can also be used in conjunction with other equipment, for example, to dewater the solid phase (solid phase) from the decanter centrifuge in a press.

Working cycle process:
filter plate pressing-feeding and filtering- pressing again- releasing the filter plate and unloading the filter cake- cleaning the filter cloth into the next cycle.
Unlike the Rotary Vacuum Filter, it is an intermittently operated machine. It is a positive pressure, high pressure dewatering machine with a large pressure difference, and is currently considered to be the lowest water content filter among solid-liquid separation equipment. It has low energy consumption, low metal loss and a clear and transparent filtrate. It is also an excellent machine that can be used without adding flocculants.
